Factory 126, Sofia, “Singing Sands”, exhibition, Sava Tsonev (sculpture) & Mono Petra (painting)
Sculptor Sava Tsonev and painter Mono Petra opened their first joint exhibition, titled “Singing Sands” on Europe Day – May 9. The exhibition is located in the artistic space “Fabrika 126” at 126 Maria Luiza Blvd. in Sofia.
The name was chosen by Mono Petra: “Imagine you are on a beach, just for yourself! The surf sings and creates the sculptures, the paintings,” said Mono Petra. When asked by journalists about the message of the exhibition, Sava Tsonev was adamant: “We don’t give messages, we give pleasure.”
Indeed, if one wants to recharge their emotions with a positive, sunny mood, “Fabrika 126” is the perfect place. Somewhere there, seemingly hidden on the top floor, are the works of these talented artists, as if they have captured the sounds of their walks on the deserted spring beaches.
